Investigation Underway

2015-0128 Fisher's Landing Elementary

Fox 12 staff  reveal an investigation has been launched after a young student at Fisher’s Landing Elementary School suffered a brain injury on the school playground then died at the hospital two days later. The family told school officials the girl returned home from school on Wednesday and indicated there was some sort of incident on the playground.

According to the school district, no one at the school saw what happened and the student didn’t report it to anyone at school. However, reporters have found children who either saw or heard about the incident from the injured child.
