Meeting W. Mitchell

When I learned W. Mitchell would be speaking locally, I wanted to hear him deliver the message “It’s Not What Happens to You, It’s What You Do About It.” I don’t drive and I could not get to the event by public transportation. Thanks to the assistance of Tod and Charley, I  was able to meet W. Mitchell and listen to his speech.

Although Tony Robbins was not introducing W. Mitchell at today’s event, the fact Tony Robbins has introduced W. Mitchell is a significant indication of the value W. Mitchell delivers.

For those of you who are not familiar with the W. Mitchell, visit his website.

Thanks to the National Speakers Association Greater Los Angeles Chapter (GLAC) for inviting W. Mitchell to speak; W. Mitchell for sharing his inspirational message; YouTube for hosting the video; Tod and Charley for making it practical for me to attend the event; and all the people who, directly or indirectly, made it possible for me to include the picture, video, text, and links in this post.

Even after brain surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments to eradicate his brain cancer, Scott continued to work; continued to study; and earned professional certifications from the Project Management Institute, American Society of Quality, and Stanford University School of Professional Development. How were all of these achievements possible at a time when Scott was struggling with the hurdles of brain injury? The answers are in this blog.
