Paid Internship Program

Each summer, the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) places college students, graduate students and recent graduates with disabilities in paid internships in the Washington, DC area. The internships are with Congressional offices, federal agencies and nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Program is open to students or recent graduates with any type of disability. Send application to by January 15, 2016 at 5 p.m. Eastern Time (application opens a Word document).

Even after brain surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments to eradicate his brain cancer, Scott continued to work; continued to study; and earned professional certifications from the Project Management Institute, American Society of Quality, and Stanford University School of Professional Development.
