The more I know about VA services the greater my desire to correct what I see as an obvious problem. As such, I propose two changes that probably could be implemented within a few hours — the online claim submission form and the online automatic submission reply. Of course there would have to be management support to implement and enforce the changes.
When a claim is submitted online, I think the following message should be generated automatically and enforced. I believe these two simple changes would immediately reduce the backlog of veteran claims and ensure more money is available to help veterans who deserve the support.
